Hi! I am Nicole Wilkinson,
I am a Wife, daughter, mother, friend and photographer! My 3 little humans are my favorite models (forced, bribed, or otherwise) My little man, Sawyer, is a loveable ball of energy. He is so very smart and will talk your ear off. He drives me absolutely crazy with all his questions, but I love him and his hugs and kisses. My little girl, Gracelyn, is a SASSHOLE to the core. {yes, that is her nickname} She has the biggest bluest eyes that will melt your heart in a second, but she also has her diva moments where you have to put your mom voice on and tell her who's really the boss. She is also my best friend. And then there is our newest little member to the Wilkinson clan, Canyon. His arrival was unexpected but a blessing no doubt. My little rainbow baby who takes up most of my time and all of my snuggles currently.
When I first started my business, I was a single mom of two, just left the only home I had for the past 10 years to move to the little town of Union City. I was working as a cashier at the local Dollar General for not a lot of money. After tragedy hit my home personally, I quit my job and I became a stay-at-home mom. My husband is the most supportive partner and father to all my children, and we are blessed to have him. He encouraged me to pursue my dreams and helps me reach all my goals.
Being a photographer is the best job in the world to me. I get to meet new people on a daily basis, hear their stories and share their lives with them. I want to be there to capture the beautiful moments for you that you are proud to show off to your friends and family. Someone once said that "no one thinks photos are important until they are all you are left with." Let me leave you with some beautiful memories.
I want your photoshoot to be fun and comfortable. I love to joke around. I am naturally a goofball, and it wasn't until I met my now husband that I discovered I am apparently hilarious! (Who knew) I want to make you comfortable and your children comfortable with me as well. I don't ever want you to feel rushed during your shoot or feel like you are on a time crunch, so you have to make the kids do exactly what I say and be perfect little people. Having children of my own who are always in front of my camera, I understand that getting that perfectly posed picture is not always the easiest and that's A- OK. Patience is one of my biggest goals. I will never get upset that your children, pets or significant other who did not cooperate during the shoot. (Let's face it men hate photographs and can be difficult. Sorry boys) I want to be your friend and make you feel as comfortable as you can having a camera shoved in your face. When you look back at your photos, I want you to think of the great time you had rather than how stressful it was and how rude or uneasy your photographer made you feel.
My name is Nicole Wilkinson. I am not perfect by any means. My life is messy and complicated. I have moments that I get angry, sad, or sassy too. However, I love photography. Ever since I picked up a camera when I was 9, I realized it is what I wanted to do with my life. I love taking regular situations and turning them into forever memories for you to always remember.
